The new Foresight Avionics CanopyFlasher
Thanks to our co-operation with ForeSightAvionics, we are now able to offer you an anti-colission fuselage flasher in a modern design.
It comes with the following features:
  
Flarm connection
If the ACL is connected to a Flarm, the flashing frequency increases when approaching another Flarm-equipped aircraft to increase its own visibility. Simple plug'n'play connection to a Flarm via a supplied cable with RJ45/12 connectors.

Modern web interface
Modern, integrated web interface allows wireless configuration and software updates of the flasher simply via the web browser of a smartphone/tablet or PC, and even the flashing frequency can be tested using an integrated simulation. The power consumption is also displayed in relation to the standard settings. Thanks to the possibility of wireless communication, it is conceivable that the strobe could be integrated into the XCSoar structure.

Panic button
"Panic" mode, triggered by a button on the I-board; increases the flashing frequency and intensity by a user-adjustable period of time.  This guarantees you immediate visibility even in traffic situations with "non FLARM equipped" road users! We are working on integrating the triggering of the "Panic Mode" into the existing structure of our XCRemote stick remote control!
  
Dual mode operation
You can choose between continuous operation and flight mode. In the latter, operation starts automatically at a speed of 40 km/h and ends 10 seconds after the aircraft comes to a standstill.
