Dear pilots The main season is finally over! For those of us who don't also use the winter months for wave flying expeditions and camps, the workshop season has already begun. We are also feeling the effects of this, and there is plenty to do. This also explains the current delivery times of several weeks in some cases. At the moment, the burden of XCNAV, family and our main job is shared between just one pair of shoulders, which can lead to delays in processing enquiries and orders. I apologise for this.
XCNAV 5.7"
Unfortunately, we had to withdraw the 5.7" version of our XCNAV announced earlier in the year shortly before its release. Ultimately, the performance of the mainboard did not meet our requirements and we would have fallen short of our possibilities and ideas. We have now found an adequate replacement and are in the prototype phase. The future XCNAV will use the latest chip generation and guarantee a lag-free Android experience. The dimensions correspond to those of an LX9000, and the devices can be swapped 1:1. In addition to the BlanView display already familiar from the 7" version, the little brother will also have an internal LTE modem.
ForeSight Avionics Haubenblitzer
As some of you have probably already seen, we now also have canopy strobes from ForeSight Avionics in our shop. The products impress with their excellent workmanship and, with a brightness of 6000 or 10500 lumens, leave the competition far behind. They are also an absolute alternative in terms of price. The design of the electronics would even allow integration into the function of our products in the future. In the spirit of :The smart SOARlution!
XCREMOTE II
Something has changed here too! Soon our XCREMOTE will not only be able to use BT but also USB. So if you prefer the tried and tested cable connection, you will now also find what you are looking for. Even though our XCREMOTE works 100% reliably via BT, a cable connection offers the possibility of charging the mobile device at the same time, for example. Furthermore, we have saved space on the circuit board by using a smaller microcontroller, which will now be available for either a Schempp-Hirth starter button or an additional toggle switch (as used in the TwinShark from HpH for electronic trimming, for example). And all this without losing any of the previous functions. We are currently working on a version for glass wing aircraft that takes into account the trim kinematics of the parallelogram control system. Thanks to Jakub from HpH Sailplanes for his great help.
XCNAV 7"
We are actually sold out at the moment. Unfortunately, there has been a slight delay in the delivery of new cases, so we have had to put all bundles and individual versions of our popular 7" navigation system on back order at short notice and expect to receive new supplies at the end of the 49th calendar week.
XCNAV GOES GEBEUTELT
Our first batch of bolt bags and equipment bags has been sold. After careful consideration, we have revised the concept of our bolt bags once again. After moving to a larger workshop, we hope to have a little more capacity to manufacture our products after the Gebeutelt Christmas trade. Stay tuned!
XCNAV SHOP *NEU
Our shop has also been given a new and clearer layout! After the old format had repeated problems with the price display and its placement, the problem should be solved in the new shop. However, as it is not always possible to see everything, we would be pleased to receive brief feedback on any errors on our website.
